Silent Meditation Walk at Shevlin Park
Details
Please read all the way through before signing up.
Let’s enjoy a silent group walk at Shevlin Park. We’ll walk at an easy pace and take in the sights and sounds of the forest and creek with the possibility to stop along the way to touch trees and potentially put our feet in the water.
- Distance: about 3 miles
- Time: roughly 2 hours
- Terrain: dirt and gravel trail
- Elevation: some gentle ups and downs, but overall a fairly easy walk
The loop has a few short inclines, but nothing technical or intense. If you’re comfortable walking a few miles, you’ll be just fine.
Please bring:
- A bottle of water
- A small snack, if you’d like, for afterwards
- Layers for changing weather
- Good walking or trail shoes
- Be prepared for mud, rain, or even a bit of snow depending on conditions.
This is about moving and breathing intentionally, with gratitude, along side others in a supportive group and in a beautiful place. Hope you’ll join us!
Please only sign up if you plan to attend regardless of the weather being rain or shine. Thank you!
