June In-Person Manchester Monthly Book Club
Waterstones, 91 Deansgate, Manchester, GBConfidence: The 8 Steps to Knowing Your Worth by Roxie Nafousi
Join us this June as we come together to explore Confidence by Roxie Nafousi a book focused on self-worth, confidence, mindset, and learning to move through life with greater belief in yourself.Together we’ll be exploring themes such as:
✨ Breaking comparison habits
✨ Building confidence from within
✨ Mastering thoughts and self-talk
✨ Doing hard things despite fear
✨ Letting go of perfectionism
✨ Becoming more comfortable being yourself
This feels like a beautiful follow-on from last month’s Letting Go as we continue exploring what happens when we begin releasing the stories, fears, and beliefs that hold us back from stepping more fully into life.
As always, this is not just about reading a book, it’s about bringing the themes into awareness and real-life practice together through discussion, reflection, and connection. What to Expect:
- Open and supportive group discussion
- Reflection questions and insights
- A welcoming space to connect with like-minded people
- No pressure to speak if you prefer just to listen
This is a free event; however, to attend, all guests are required to purchase at least one drink and snack from the café in support of the venue hosting us. No outside food or drinks permitted.

📍 Waterstones Manchester, Deansgate
🗓 Every 2nd Thursday of the month
👥 Limited to 20 places – RSVP required
Come and join us for in-person inspirational and self-development book club events in Manchester. These gatherings are a chance to slow down, reflect, and connect with like-minded people in a warm, grounded, and supportive space. Each session will be guided by teachings from a selected self-development or inspirational book (the monthly book will be confirmed one month before the date and is chosen by members who attended previous month). The book acts as a theme and anchor, but you and your lived experience are always at the centre. What to expect from the book club
This is not a lecture, and you don’t need to have read the book to attend.
Each session typically includes:- A short, accessible overview of the book’s key themes
- Open, friendly group discussion
- Gentle written and reflective activities
- Practical tools and insights you can take away and use at home
- Space to connect, share, and reflect in real time with others
Whether you’ve read the book, listened to parts of it, or are completely new to the author, you are very welcome. This is an invitation to come as you are, open, curious, and willing to explore.
