GNU Emacs Hackathon (23rd August, 1100 - 1600 hrs)
Emacs is a extensible editor of choice for hackers. C++ is a systems programming language that powers infrastructure all over the world.
GOAL
adapt cc-mode to create C++ coding style

Using a programming language like LISP to adapt an Editor environment like Emacs is a very effective approach to learn how to construct software. We also learn about C++ !
SOFTWARE

We will use Emacs 'master' build

We will make extensive use of 'Git' and 'Gcc' toolchain.

APPROACH

Team formation will be done by the organizers depending on the number of attendees.

Setup and configure the software. Make sure the environment is working fine.

clone the git repo that will be shared on the day of the hackathon

There will be discussion of 'key facets' of C++ coding style (includes 'stroustrup' style).

The teams will work towards adapting small feature sets with regular syncs to the main repo.

Final solution will be integrated code from all the participating teams.
ARTIFACTS
- software artifacts that we create as a community will be released under AGPLv3+.
