What we’re about
Inclusive Muslims of Central Virginia is an open community of friends building connections through love, worship, and service. Our mission is to provide an inclusive and safe space for all who wish to gather and worship the Creator.
As part of this mission, we have a commitment to providing a space that is safe, inclusive, and affirming of all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, disability, gender, sexual/romantic orientation, or gender identity.
We are also welcoming of curious non-Muslims, people who are exploring, born-but-lapsed Muslims, and converts. We accept Sunnis, Shias, Ahmadiyyas, Sufis, Progressive Muslims, Quranists, and Cultural Muslims alike.
We discuss the Quran, Islamic books, and prayer. We also socialize, laugh, and have fun. Join us if you would like an Islamic community that is safe, open-minded, fun, friendly, and judgment-free.
