Independent Workers of Buffalo is a for people who work independently or with flexibility and want to be part of something.
We bring together remote workers, freelancers, entrepreneurs, small business owners, community builders, and students across Buffalo for casual, recurring meetups and shared experiences. Most of us don’t have coworkers in the traditional sense. This group is about changing that.
It’s a space to:
• Meet other independent workers in the area
• Find coworking buddies and collaborators
• Share resources, ideas, and opportunities
• Stay in the loop on local events and happenings
• Get out of the house and into the community
Our main gathering is a monthly happy hour at different spots around the city—low-pressure, come-as-you-are, and easy to drop into.
