My experience founding and running IoT-NCR (worlds third largest iot meetup group of 8000+ member) says that meet ups are great place to network, collaborate, innovate and bring together experts under one roof.
World is moving towards exploring India as critical electronics manufacturing hub and inspite of multiple Government led and private initiatives, there is still a gap of the entire manufacturing ecosystem to collaborate cohesively.
Electronics components suppliers, chip manufacturers, hardware designers, electronics engineers, embedded programmers, EMS companies, distributors, PCB fabs, design and engineering houses, startup communities focused on hardware, government missions like T-Hub, KSUM, etc. and educational bodies all are invited to participate in this group.
I foresee that we can make IME, India's largest community driven initiative with a non profit focus mindset to bring all the right stakeholders together. I will plan to collaborate with NASSCOM, KSUM, T-Works, CII, ELCINA, IITs, NITs, IIMs and most importantly aspiring engineers who wants to make a difference.
