# Indian Manufacturing Ecosystem (IME)

My experience of founding and growing IoT-NCR into one of the world's largest IoT communities, with over 8,000 members, reinforced one simple belief: communities have the power to transform industries.

They create opportunities to network, collaborate, innovate, mentor, and solve complex challenges together.
India stands at a defining moment in its manufacturing journey.

Global supply chains are being reimagined, governments and enterprises worldwide are looking toward India as a strategic manufacturing destination, and significant investments are flowing into electronics, semiconductors, EVs, aerospace, defence, industrial automation, medical devices, and advanced manufacturing.

While numerous government programs and private initiatives are accelerating this growth, there remains a need for a truly collaborative platform that connects every stakeholder across the manufacturing value chain.

Indian Manufacturing Ecosystem (IME) has been created to bridge that gap.
IME is a non-profit, community-driven initiative dedicated to bringing together the entire manufacturing ecosystem to share knowledge, foster partnerships, accelerate innovation, develop talent, and strengthen India's manufacturing capabilities.
