- Representing the 2010s, Parasite is a South Korean dark thriller and a twisted tale that highlights matters of class discrimination and greed. The destitute Kim family members—the chauffeur father (Song Kang-ho), housekeeper mother (Jang Hye-jin), tutor son (Choi Woo-Shik), and art therapist daughter (Park So-dam)—all scheme to take on roles in the household of the wealthy Park family.
