Tickets are £25 + bf https://www.the100club.co.uk/clubevents/the-smyths-sept-25/
The Smyths are back on tour for 2025!
The new tour is a celebration of the classic release of the album, Meat Is Murder.
Alongside revisiting tracks off this great album the band will also play a ‘Best Of’ set with tracks all across the classic Smiths back catalogue.A Morrissey/Marr reunion is highly unlikely and I reckon The Smyths are the next best thing!
Meet up from 18:30 in the Blue Posts pub round the corner for a pre-drink and a chat:

- Dog Race @ The LexingtonThe Lexington, London
Yet another dog named band, Dog Race have been showing a lot of pedigree so far. "It's The Squeeze" and "The Leader"were 2 of the best singles of 2024, and they've followed those up with recent single "Return The Day (Colours)". I've been wanting to see them for quite a while & look forward to doing so at The Lexington.

Tickets are £16.50'ish all in via TicketWebSome Tuneage:

There's a Mouse in my House - Belly @ Electric Ballroom: (Celebrating King at 30)Electric ball room , London
Formed in 1991 by Tanya Donelly (formerly of Throwing Muses and the Breeders) with Tom and Chris Gorman, Belly became known for a blend of spirited guitar rock, countrified dream-pop, and Donelly’s haunting lyrics and voice. (Spiel: Robbed from BellyOffical),
Belly are back playing live and provide a good route to 90's nostalgia for those who may or may not have seen them before. I'm feeling nostalgic and looking forward to the gig!
NOTE: This is a "Celebrating King at 30" night which I guess will mean, they'll play the full (or most of the) King album. Album nights are normally topped up with hits and other tunes from the rest of the artist's backlist also & not just the album-play alone. I presume the same for this.
