Adult DVD @ Scala
Scala, 275 Pentonville Rd, London N1 9NL, UK, London, GBLeeds-based six-piece Adult DVD are back in town, playing at the Scala. Their three-night residency at the Shacklewell Arms earlier this year was a real highlight, so I’m looking forward to seeing them again, this time on a bigger stage. Expect another pulsating mix of electro/indie.
Support from Group A.D. and Kiosk.
🎟️ Tickets available on DICE:
Adult DVD – Scala ticketsFormed by vocalist Harry Hanson and synth-player Greg Lonsdale, Adult DVD have grown into a full six-piece, blending chorus-heavy indie with acid house influences, danceable electronics and plenty of humour.
They've already picked up plenty of attention, including a Rolling Stone UK 'Ones To Watch for 2026' tip, BBC 6 Music playlisting and a live appearance at BBC 6 Music Festival.🎥 Videos to whet your appetite:

Congratulations @ Paper Dress Vintage
Paper Dress Vintage, 352a Mare St, London E8 1HR, UK, London, GBHey indie kids, I discovered (self described) art rockers Congratulations earlier in the year and was waiting for them to announce a show in our nation's fair capital and lo and behold, there's one next month!
Their sound is quite fun, lots of synths and 80's influences. Check them out at Spotify and Youtube (other media outlets are available).
Supports TBA but the tickets are only £11 and in a quirky venue (only 120 capacity so get 'em while they're still on sale unless you don't mind paying extra on the waitlist). DICE is the only option it seems.
Pre-gig drinks either at the bar there or at a pub nearby, TBA...
