Egyptian Blue - Oslo, Hackney £11
RESCHEDULED AGAIN - all tickets remain valid
The duel-fronted foursome sound chaotic yet accomplished
Each track is filled with in-your-face riffs and fiery frantic rhythms reminiscent of some of the best of early Foals. How the beauty of an intense punk rock gig was captured on this record has been celebrated by the likes of DIY, NME and post-punk royalty IDLES (“They’re f***ing sick”, IDLES frontman Joe Talbot says of Egyptian Blue).

'Berries' are a band that I have followed for a few years now. Their indie rock catchy tracks like ' We are Machines' and 'Spiral' have contributed to a rapid rise on the music scene.
In recent times they have been supporting the acclaimed singer/songwriter Frank Turner. Indeed they put on a great set at the O2 Shepherds Bush Empire in February.
This gig at 'Oslo' venue is the culmination of a short UK tour in March, one to look forward to.
The band is supported on the night by three other promising acts, 'Deux Furieuses' , ' Hurtling ' and 'Jenna Freeman and the Cosmic Something'.
Tickets are £11 and available via the following link https://www.oslohackney.com/events/ or just go the Oslo Hackney website and scroll down to 'live' for events.
Tickets have been going well, so do buy promptly to avoid disappointment.
This will be an enjoyable night. Hopefully see you there at Oslo.

Remember shouting at that other indie geek's ear during the gig?
had no idea what s/he was saying ? that's because you were at a gig, and a gig is not a place to mingle.
Our regular indie pub meetups are custom made to mingle.
Come along to our new regular pub meetup to share a drink or two or three with other indie types... The organisers won't always be available so please let us know if you'd like to host!
