Delivery + Vehicle (Free Entry)
Details
Free gig, but RSVPs are required via DICE (ticket link)
I'm pretty new to both these bands, but they seem like they'll be fun to see live.
Delivery are an Australian 5-piece band described as 'fusing post-punk, punk, garage rock and dancefloor rhythms'. Their new album 'Zone 3' is out in the new year, with the song Measuring Cup released as the first taste of what to expect. Here's an example of them literally getting down at the Moth Club last year (link)
Vehicle hail from Leeds. 'The band blends 1960s British Invasion pop, garage rock, and retro Americana with kitchen-sink storytelling and sharp, surrealist humour.' They too have an album out next year, with Escalators their most recent published track. However, the dual release of You are not a Cowboy & My Future Wife (I Love You), from earlier in the year, might give a better idea of their range and playfulness.
Venue Schedule:
- 7.00pm - Doors Open
- 8.00pm - Vehicle
- 9.00pm - Delivery
You'll need to download the DICE app, if you don't have it already, to hold your ticket.
I will provide meeting details, to those who have RSVPed to the meetup event, closer to the date.
