FREE OUTDOOR SHOW: David Bowie Tribute Band Space Oddity

Sorry this is last minute, but I was just made an assistant organizer. This will be my first time hosting!

This free outdoor show should be amazing. The leader of this band has appeared in movies and TV, a Vegas show, etc. as a David Bowie impersonator. He was even in a commercial side-by-side with David Bowie himself! And the band is said to put on a great "multi-media spectacle", though I'm not sure how elaborate the show will be at Wilson Park.

The event is scheduled to start at 5pm, but these free concerts in the park always fill up fast, so I think it's best to get there early so we can find space to sit together. If anyone would be interested in going to a nearby restaurant or bar afterwards, let me know.

There are no seats in the amphitheater, so bring your own blanket or a low-back folding chair. You're of course free to bring snacks and drinks for yourself or anything you want to share with the group.

This is a huge park. I recommend you park somewhere near the Dee Hardison Sports Center. The parking lot entrance is off of Crenshaw Bl and Jefferson St.
