💥Bikini Kill💥

Mothers of the Riot Grrrl movement, Bikini Kill burst onto the PNW alt scene in 1991, at the same time as bands like Nirvana and Pearl Jam. Known for high energy, in your face performances, the band became an integral part of DC’s 90’s punk scene often working with members of Fugazi. The Singles is a compilation (9 songs in 17 minutes!) of songs from that era.

The Fillmore is a medium sized venue (a bit larger than the 930) in downtown Silver Spring. It’s a 10 minute walk from the SS metro station and there are several nearby parking garages.
