♥ Introduction ♥

Geomdan Mountain is located in Gyeonggi, Seoul's neighboring province. The 1.5 hours of non-stop incline was a true test of my faith and leg muscles.
The magnificent view at the top let the butterflies in my stomach go wild, and the perfect weather allowed that perfect glimpse of Seoul.
This trail starts off fairly easy. It is a wide trail that looks as though a truck could drive on it. The base is very rocky so a good pair of hiking shoes and a steady step is needed.
At 657 meters tall, Some part of this mountain is not an easy climb. Geomdansan is a mountain next to Hanam City in Eastern side of Seoul. It is probably one of the easiest mountains outside of Seoul to reach without a car. On the way up there were not too many people. It was crowded but because the mountain has many different paths there wasn't too many people on the one I used. As you come up the mountain there are some nice views but not as many as other mountains. There was one spot with an incredible view of the river and other mountains. That view alone made this hike worth it.

Let's breathe in the breeze at the top, and let your thoughts soar as high and wide as the mountains. You definitely deserve it after such an accomplishment.

Sangok Elmentary School - JangSu Tower - Unification Monumental Tower - 3 Way Junction - Highest Peak - Observatory - Yugiljun Tomb -Okuk Temple - Shinhan Apt.

This hike is about 10 kilometers( 6 hours ).
