Movie at Indianapolis Central Library: Burning
Details
Central Library is showing "Burning" by Lee Chang-Dong on the big screen theater in Clowes Auditorium (300 seats).
Based on the short story "Barn Burning" by Haruki Murakami, with elements inspired by William Faulkner's story of the same name. Jong-su bumps into a girl who used to live in the same neighborhood, who asks him to look after her cat while she's on a trip to Africa. When back, she introduces Ben, a mysterious guy she met there, who confesses his secret hobby.
We will meet 15 minutes before showtime at 6 p.m. in the lobby to meet and greet. After the film, Braden and Jason will meet at Harrison Restaurant at 555 North Delaware St. (few blocks away) to discuss what we just saw.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing "Burning" with you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wi6Kw7V8gXk
