“Dead Man’s Wire” is based ion the true crime story that took place in Indianapolis in 1977. Tony Kiritsis took banker Richard Hall hostage, putting a wire around his neck, the wire attached to the end of a shotgun. The film tells the story of the crime and subsequent negotiations that captivated the citizens of Indianapolis.

The film is directed by Gus Van Sant and stars Bill Skarsgård as Tony Kiritsis, Dacre Montgomery as Richard Hall, and Colman Domingo as Fred Temple (who I think is based on WIBC newsman Fred Heckman, who was instrumental in this event.)

The movie starts at 7:40 pm, so I have set the meet up time for 7:15 pm. The movie runs about 1 hour and 45 minutes, so with 10 minutes of previews, it should be over by 9:25 pm.

Adults 13-59 are $12.50, seniors 60+ are $9.75, and children 2-12 are $9.50.

I hope to see a lot of you there!
