Let's Talk Movies in a restaurant.
We will gather around and each share a "Last Movie Seen." Each of us will talk about a movie that we have seen recently. You can discuss the plot (no spoilers) and your feelings about the film. We encourage discussion about each others' shared movies.
Our second discussion will be about the movie Perfect Days. Our theme this month is "movies where nothing happens." Perfect Dreams follows the days of a man who cleans public toilets in Tokyo and takes time to look at the shadows cast by leaves. It has a great soundtrack, is directed by the esteemed German director, Wim Wenders, and will get you to slow down and appreciate some of the simple pleasures of life.
Perfect Days is streaming on Kanopy (all of our Movies of the Month this year will be on Kanopy) and on Hulu.
