Hong Kong Action: The Killer

Let's meet to see one of the best Hong Kong action movies: The Killer. The Killer is a non stop gunfu film from 1989, when Chow Yu-Yun Fat was the coolest man in the world and John Woo was its best action director. Our "hero" is a hitman who accidentally blinds a singer during a hit and vows to do one last job to pay for her surgery. Danny Lee plays the cop determined to take him down. It is all very operatic, over the top and done in great John Woo style.
We will meet in the lobby 15 minutes before the 6:00 showtime. In addition. you are welcome to join us for dinner at Tandoori Flame, behind the AMC 17 theater, at 5:45. We will talk movies and enjoy good food.
