The Indy Cinema Series presents "Grand Prix" by John Frankenheimer on the big screen theater in Clowes Auditorium (300 seats) at Central Library. Free and open to the public.

Grand Prix is about risk, mortality, and innovation during the gold age of Formula One auto racing.

American Grand Prix driver Pete Aron (James Garner) is fired by his Jordan-BRM racing team after a crash at Monaco that injures his British teammate, Scott Stoddard. Eventually, meeting several past and new acquaintances, including Izo Yamura (Toshiro Mifune) who loosely portrays the legendary Soichiro Honda. Aron tries to seek redemption by finding a new team and navigating professional rivalries and personal romances.

This film will offer a complimentary 5 minute intermission.

We will meet 10 minutes before showtime at 1:20 p.m. in the lobby to meet and greet. After the film, Braden and Jason will host a meetup at Harrison Restaurant at 555 North Delaware St. (few blocks away) at 5:10 p.m. to discuss the movie.
