Let's Talk Movie + Movie of the Month

Let's meetup to talk movies at a restaurant.
Our first round of discussion will be Talk about a Movie. Pick any movie that you would like to talk about. Let us know what you liked, what you didn't like. Share your thoughts about other members' movies. This is a great way to build a watch list.
Our second round of discussion will be about our Movie of the Month, Miroirs No. 3. After a car crash kills her boyfriend, piano student Laura is taken in by Betty, who witnessed the accident. Living with Betty's family brings comfort, but Laura starts questioning their intentions as time passes.
This film is directed by Christian Petzold, who directed Phoenix, a favorite among some of our members. We will talk about how Miroirs fits into our monthly topic about films that deal with grief, guilt and/or obsession. Does it remind us of Vertigo perhaps?
Miroirs No. 3 is streaming on Kanopy, which is a streaming service free to most library card holders.
