About us
Indianapolis Ambassadors is a group civic-minded individuals who share a goal of helping others and the community of Indianapolis through volunteerism, and of meeting new people with similar interests. In addition to the many volunteer events our members may sign up for, we also offer many social and educational events. We also hold monthly meetings in various interesting locations throughout the city, featuring a short talk from a guest speaker as well as announcements and opportunities to sign up for our events. Our ages range from 21 to 70+, with the most common age group being 50-somethings. Our website is at http://www.indyambassadors.org/

About Re-Entry. Where do you start after release from prison? How do you tell your story? And who will listen? Re-Entry: Building a Life after Incarceration is a theatrical exploration of real women’s histories. Developed from local interviews conducted by Dr. Sally Wasmuth of IU Indianapolis School of Health and Human Sciences, Re-Entry is the third collaboration between playwrights Kelsey Johnson Lyons and Lauren Briggeman, Summit’s founding artistic director. Each performance is followed by a panel discussion with interviewees and community members. Hear their stories, join the discussion, and build our community.
