Indiana Humanities' Lit Fest is a free literary festival that celebrates the power of writing in the Midwest. It is hosted by Indiana Humanities and features a variety of activities such as book fairs, author readings, workshops, and more. The festival aims to connect writers and readers, encourage new writing, and promote the literary community in Indiana.

Over the course of the festival, 80 volunteers are needed; the Indianapolis Ambassadors are hosting a Meetup group of volunteers on Saturday (https://www.indyambassadors.org/event/proof-a-midwest-lit-fest/).

Volunteer positions include: Registration, wayfinding, story-time assistance, author assistance, writing workshop assistance, set-up, teardown, room monitoring, parking assistance, floaters.
