Water Station Volunteers Needed. The Indianapolis Ambassadors have been invited to host a water station for the Carmel Marathon. The Carmel Marathon is one of the top Boston Marathon qualifying events, it is known for fast times and ideal conditions. This is a fun, high-energy way to serve our local community while supporting a great event—and as a thank-you from the Carmel Marathon, we will receive a $200 donation for our organization.
We need your help to make our refreshment station cheerful and efficient for the runners who pass by. We will set up tables, pour drinks of Gatorade and water, hand them to the runners and walkers as they zoom by, and then we clean up and break down the tables. Optional brunch after.
