About us

Daily 25-minute meditation practices at 7am & 8am (EST), Zoom-based, attended typically by 6-10 everyday persons. Come as you are. You don't need to have any special knowledge or experience. Just be your ordinary human self. Every body welcome!

Our main practice is silent, seated meditation, or just sitting. There’s nothing to achieve and nothing to attain. We sit with light posture, return to ease in the body and ease in the breathing, and ease towards whatever is on our hearts. Practicing together this way, without words, is a practice of cooperation, mutual support, and love that leads to clarity, the digestion of bitterness (khổ, 苦, suffering) in our lives, and getting to know who you are when you’re not trying to be anyone.

We have other events. Please visit our Little Forest Zen website for our full schedule. All of our practices are free practices.

Little Forest Zen is a worker self-directed nonprofit cooperative that supports community well-being. All of our practices are free for participants. Formerly, Little Forest Zen was named Indianapolis Community Yoga.
