"From Accounting to Data Science: It's Never Too Late to Change Paths" by Evelyn Delph
Halfway through my undergrad I realized my passion for technology while I was on the accounting path. Switching from where I was most comfortable in my business school to a very new field was extremely intimidating, as there were few women in the computer science field at my school. However, through self discovery, strategic networking, and taking on new challenges, I was able to switch from a field I wasn’t finding fulfillment in, to a new career in computer Science, which led me to Data Science. I hope to share my story as well some practical steps anyone can take to in order to pursue their dream career in technology.

"Human + AI: The Path Forward" by Kristin Day
The most promising future of AI involves a symbiotic relationship between humans and AI. This future is realized through human-in-the-loop AI systems. Human-in-the-loop AI systems capture human action as training data for AI. The AI, in turn, feeds predictions into the system used by humans to increase efficiency and clean, labeled data collection. Businesses seeking to transform or grow digitally must consider AI integration at the earliest stages of tech adoption: when adopting and developing new business platforms. Doing so will not only allow robust AI systems that improve daily, but will also create valuable data assets businesses can leverage for insights and intelligence.
