Saving Democracy in America

This is the first meeting of the Troublemakers, a group dedicated to helping members take action to save democracy in America. The meeting will build upon our principles and begin to more identify the actions and activities the group will take in the future.

We are meeting in the Flatirons room upstairs in the Boulder Public Library. *If you need to cancel, please do so as early as possible so others can sign up*

Principles:

1. Recognition that the Trump Administration and the MAGA/Project 2025 movement represent a clear threat to the democratic principles and individual rights and freedoms this country has strived for since its founding
2. The purpose of the group is to help people take effective actions to restore, protect and expand those rights and freedoms.
3. Ending the Trump Administration and the MAGA/Project 2025 movement is fundamental to protecting those rights and freedoms.
4. Whether you’re a Democrat, Republican, Independent or other, realizing that getting Democrats into office is currently the only viable way to save our rights and freedoms at this time.
5. Anyone who is on board with 1-4 is welcome, no matter who they have voted for in the past.
