Pickup Soccer at Sommers Bend

Full-field pickup soccer under the lights in Temecula, CA at Sommers Bend. The fee covers field reservation and lights, balls, bibs, etc.

RULES:

FIFA rules except…

1. Zero tolerance for tactical fouls or any overly aggressive playing
2. No slide tackles
3. No offsides, but…
4. No cherry-picking (only to be called by defenders and goalie). Cherry picking is a player standing more than ~5 yards offsides.
5. Anyone running forward, please just try to stay onside as you are making your runs. Be your own ref.
6. Call your own fouls, handballs, etc. There are no refs so be your own, please.
7. Goalie calls corner kicks and goal kicks
8. Players must be willing to volunteer for goalie when a goalie isn’t on their team. If you don’t volunteer, you will be asked to play.
9. No Penalties. Everything is a direct kick.
