Advanced registration required. Join us for our monthly bird count at the Thorpe Rd parcel - an important, publicly accessible woodland parcel in Spokane's West Hills. Participants will help document the site's rich bird diversity and strengthen the City of Spokane's application to designate this land for a Trust Land Transfer, ensuring it remains protected for wildlife and for the community. Whether you're a seasoned birder or just starting out, your observations matter! Bring your good walking shoes, warm clothes, and your enthusiasm for conservation. This is a direct, hands-on way to support conservation right here in our own community.
The trail is uneven in parts and is steep in the beginning. The pace will be slow. No restroom access.
Parking is extremely limited at the entry point so registration is required. Contact Shenandoah at [conservation@spokaneaudubon.org](mailto:conservation@spokaneaudubon.org)
