Join us every Sunday for a serene and uplifting Sunday Dharma Lounge event. It's a golden opportunity for us to come together, nurture ourselves, and strengthen the bonds of our beautiful community.

The essence of this event lies in creating a sacred space where we can embark on a journey of self-discovery and deep connection. Come together to sip coffee and tea, read spiritual texts, engage in enriching discussions, meditate, and bond as a community.

### WISE AWARENESS PRACTICE GROUP

#### DATE: EVERY SUNDAY

#### TIME: 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM PST

Our approach to practice is based on the teachings of Sayadaw U Tejaniya, which encourages the cultivation of wise awareness in all aspects of life. Therefore, in addition to formal sitting practice, our group will also practice while engaging in a variety of activities. There may be weeks when we will meet for a hike, at a public event, to shop, etc., or virtually via Zoom. We will notify you when this is the case. But unless otherwise noted, our regular group will be held at Inner Way.

Bhante Nalaka is a resident monk at the Metta Vihara of Texas. He has been practicing Buddhism for over 40 years and has spent many years at a Buddhist monastery in Sri Lanka.

Join us for a talk on ways to cultivate and maintain a happy mind in trying times. We will discuss powerful mental skills and practices to sustain mental peace in difficult times and throughout the rest of our life.

David Leonard has practiced and taught meditation for over 50 years, after receiving teacher training in Sri Lanka where he was a monk for three and a half years in his early 20s. David has done over eight years of deep retreat, and maintains an extensive daily practice. His intuitive approach to practice is uniquely suited to western minds, and he has been influential in the training of some well known western teachers.
