Join us on Wednesday, May 10th, at Studio 45 for an inspiring event showcasing the power of women business leaders who are driving innovation with AI and ML. We are honored to host three exceptional thought leaders in this field: Laila Danielsen, CEO of Elliptic Lab, Elisa Phillips VP, Sales at Omneky and Tish Shute (Leichliter), Co-Founder and Board Member of Augmented Reality Org and former Director of Spatial Computing (AR/VR/AI), Strategy & Technology Planning at Futurewei Technologies, Inc.
The potential impact of AI and ML on innovation is enormous, and our speakers are leading the way forward in this exciting area. During this event, each speaker will share their experience and perspectives, followed by a panel discussion where they will discuss the topic in depth. Our aim is to uncover valuable insights and best practices from those who are at the forefront of inventing the future.
Our panel of three women leaders is an excellent opportunity to learn from their style of leadership and team management, and we encourage all attendees to come prepared with questions and ideas on how AI and ML can power corporate innovation in organizations.
Laila Danielsen, CEO of Elliptic Lab
Laila Danielsen is a serial entrepreneur, a former professional soccer player in Japan and the current CEO of Elliptic Labs - a global AI Virtual Smart Sensor Platform company that leverages the power of AI to provide innovative solutions and deployed in over 500 million devices in the smartphones, laptops, and IoT markets. Due to her exceptional leadership skills and strong customer-orientation, Ms. Danielsen has a long history of success in bringing technology to market and building focused teams, including FastScale Technology Inc., Scali, and Penguin Computing all of which were eventually acquired by industry giants. Danielsen shares her expertise as an advisor to ascending companies. She is a speaker at top MBA programs and an advisor for Innovation Norway. She was awarded an MS at the Norwegian School of Economics and a BA at University of San Francisco.
Elisa Phillips
VP, Sales at Omneky
Elisa Phillips is an experienced business leader in digital media, advertising, and emerging technology platforms. She’s spent much of her career at Google in the US and Europe, and built businesses with early stage products and ad platforms including Search, Video, App Ads using new Machine Learning technologies, and Immersive Ad experiences, to name a few. After Google, Elisa joined DoorDash, the leading delivery platform, as Director of Enterprise Ad Sales and led a team to drive triple digit revenue growth and product adoption for Doordash’s advertising and promotional business. Elisa is now Vice President of Sales at Omneky, an innovator and leader in Generative AI which creates AI-powered personalized ads and content at scale. She is responsible for Sales, Business Development and Growth Marketing. Elisa is driven to make a lasting impact that contributes to innovation and sustainable business growth.
Tish Shute (Leichliter)
Co-Founder AWE. I'm focused on a rapidly evolving stack of technologies making reality the next platform for computing. My mission is to bring these new technologies into the mainstream to enhance people's lives. I have extensive product experience from technology strategy and planning, industry and university partnerships, to product management, rapid prototyping, shipping product, and developing ecosystems. As Director of AR/VR & Spatial Computing, Strategy & Technology Planning, at Futurewei Technologies, Inc., I worked at the intersection of research, technology and design to shape the future of computing and communications with some of the most powerful computing tools of our time, photonics, computer vision and AI, to create distributed simulations for AVs, robotics, and cloud gaming. Previously, I worked with Will Wright (Sims, Sim City) at Stupid Fun Club developing next generation entertainment - AI agents in reality-based simulations, smart toys, Augmented Reality TV & games, & as co-founder at Syntertainment (THRED), a new generation of mobile social experiences. I have taken a leading role in the emergence of AR/VR into the consumer market. I'm Co-Founder of Augmented World Expo (AWE) - now in its 12th year & the world’s largest event focused on AR, VR, & MR. I also co-founded Augmented Reality.ORG, a global not-for-profit organization dedicated to advancing AR & VR.
