This group is for everyday people who want to actually understand and use AI — not just hear about it. No tech background required, no jargon, no sales pitch. Short, hands-on crash courses where you leave having actually built something.

New: we also hold an open AI ethics discussion every Saturday at 3pm, same room, different shape. No class, no slides - just people talking honestly about responsible AI use and responsible AI infrastructure. Every position is welcome here. If you're excited about where this is going, say so. If it worries you, or it has already taken something from you, say that too, and be heard rather than argued at. We give attention to both the good and the bad of what AI is doing to the world. You don't need a technical background or a worked-out position.

We'll build a real trajectory, starting wherever you are:

Level 1 — Everyday AI: Get comfortable with tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity for everyday life — writing better emails, organizing your day, learning something new, or just knowing what these tools are actually good for. We'll also talk honestly about using AI responsibly: what it gets wrong, privacy, and when NOT to trust it.

Level 2 — AI for your career: Use AI to build a stronger resume, prep for interviews, research a career change, or get better at your current job. This is for anyone job hunting, switching fields, or trying to stand out.

Level 3 — AI for your work: Practical ways to cut down the repetitive work and paperwork that eats your evenings — drafting, summarizing, research, scheduling, customer communication — whatever your day actually looks like.

Level 4 — Building with AI: For people who want to go further — using AI-assisted coding tools to actually build software, automate a workflow, or launch a real project, even with zero coding background. This is where "AI user" turns into "AI builder."
