Good Ways Of Spending Free Time

When we get free time, a weekend, or reach retirement, a big question comes up: what is the healthiest way to spend that time?

Staying truly active can for some feel great.
Many people find joy in exercising, traveling, volunteering; learning completely new skills. For those that retired this kind of routine can keep the mind sharp, the body strong, and make for a great reason to get out of bed every morning.

But modern life and long careers can also be exhausting. Thus some think that the healthiest choice is to simply slow down and prefer to use their free time for pure rest, quiet moments with family- basically living with zero schedule or pressure. To them, "forcing" yourself to stay busy just feels like more work.

Can one figure out how to balance these two needs?
How do we stay connected and active without burning ourselves out?

Questions to Talk About:
What does a "healthy" day off look like to you?
How can someone transition into retirement - without feeling bored or overwhelmed?
Is it better to have a set plan for your free time, or just take it day by day?
