What we’re about
Exploring art, heritage and ideas — for curious, sociable 40–60-somethings.
Welcome to Interesting & Interested – Chichester, a friendly group for anyone who enjoys exploring art, culture, heritage, and ideas — and doing it in good company.
Do you ever spot an exhibition, talk or performance you’d love to see, but would rather not go solo? Or have slightly different interests to your partner or friends? Then come and be interesting and interested with us — a small, friendly group of curious people who enjoy exploring culture, heritage and ideas together.
What we do:
🎭 Cultural evenings – gallery visits, theatre nights, films and talks.
🏛 Heritage outings – stately homes, artists’ houses, historic places across Sussex.
🌿 Culture and the natural world – heritage gardens and events linking design, craft and sustainability.
☕ Sociable get-togethers with a twist – each event includes time for a bit of a chat!
Typical rhythm: one weeknight local event + one weekend afternoon outing per month.
We value curiosity, kindness and respect. Numbers stay small (up to around 12 people) so it’s easy to chat and connect.

See more here: Thursday Late | The Art of Care
You can attend one activity, or simply explore the gallery at your own pace — there’s no expectation that we all do the same thing.
At 8:00 pm, we’ll gather in the Pallant House café to say hello, put faces to names, and enjoy a drink together. This will be a low key introduction to the group — perfect if you’re curious but not keen on anything too structured.
No art expertise needed — just curiosity and an interest in sharing the experience with others.1 attendee
