Hey guys!
New Turia Wine tasting event coming up! :-) Let's continue the good traditions from previous years!
Join fellow expats for a memorable Summer Farewell Wine Tasting in the lush park of the City of Arts, where exquisite wines flow alongside vibrant beats from 2 live DJs under the open sky.

Rules:

• Bring one or 2 bottles per person/couple of at least 6€ average store price. Please avoid supermarkets like Consum or Mercadona and go to a bodega (wine store) as the quality of the wines, for the same price, will be higher there! :-) Not being picky, but it's a wine tasting and not a "get wasted" meetup.
• IMPORTANT: send me the picture of the bottle you bought ahead of the event to @Diegotomf on Telegram - so I can sort out the wines for the tasting before we meet
• When you choose your bottle ask for a variety of grapes that is different from the usual suspects (so for example do not choose Verdejo, Albarino, Tempranillo, Monastrell) - it will make the tasting more interesting! :-)

If you bring a white, keep the wine in the fridge before coming

• Be on time! :-) So we can enjoy the tasting! We will be spending the first hour of the event doing a proper wine tasting, so learning the techniques and the characteristics of the wines we drink and later we will taste of all the wine that we have brought. For those coming later, always happy to talk about the wines we are drinking, but I will also focus more on socializing! :-)

Recommendations:

• Bring your own glass
• Bring your own bottle of water so you clean the glass after one wine is finished and a new one is coming.
• Bring your own snacks and appetizers to go with the wine. Fine cheeses, ham, chorizo, whatever you like having with wine.
• Bring a towel to lay on
• Bring a Jacket/Sweater as it'll get chilly after 6pm
• Make sure to have an Uber account or a bus ticket to go back home, as it might be dangerous to drive or cycle after the event :))

Exception: You can bring any wine or alcoholic beverage as long as you are going to drink it by yourself. Some people just love the 2€ Mercadona White Label red wine, and that's totally fine if you are going to drink it by yourself.
Reminder that this is not a professional event, but it'll be somewhat close, and all that matters it's that we'll have loads of fun!
