International Friends Social Club: Authentic Connection in an Automated World
In an era of increasing automation and digital convenience, the opportunity for spontaneous, face-to-face connection is becoming rare—particularly for those navigating careers and busy lives. The International Friends Social Club was created to bridge that gap, providing a refined yet relaxed space for multicultural people to gather, converse, and build genuine community.

Our Philosophy
We believe the best connections happen offline. Our biweekly gatherings at local venues offer a sanctuary from the digital routine, allowing for high-character social discovery in a comfortable, pub-style atmosphere. Whether you are an expat, have lived overseas, or simply value the perspective of a global circle, you have a seat at our table.

What to Expect
Refined Conversation: We prioritize meaningful dialogue over "small talk." Come ready to share your experiences and listen to the stories of others.

A Classy Environment: To ensure everyone feels welcome and respected, we maintain a standard of "refined social conduct." We avoid crude humor and prioritize empathy, patience, and cultural curiosity.

Supporting Local: We take pride in our relationships with the businesses that host us. As these venues provide the infrastructure for our community, we ask all members to support them by purchasing a meal, a drink, or a refreshment.

Ease of Access: No specific backgrounds are required—just a commitment to being present, reliable with your RSVPs, and open to meeting new people.

Join the Conversation
If you are looking for an intentional social outlet that values diversity, professionalism, and authentic human interaction, we invite you to join us.
We look forward to seeing you at our next scheduled gathering!

Our Community Standards
Cultivate Cultural Respect: We celebrate the global nature of our group. Please honor the diverse traditions, viewpoints, and backgrounds represented at our table.

Maintain a "Classy" Environment: We prioritize high-character interactions. Please avoid crude humor, derogatory language, or behavior that may cause discomfort to others.

Practice Language Patience: We are a multilingual community. Please speak clearly, allow others the floor to finish their thoughts, and offer patience to those who are still mastering their English skills.

Support Our Host Venues: We meet at businesses, not libraries. To remain in good standing with our venues, we ask all attendees support the establishment by purchasing a drink or food.

Engage Authentically: Come ready to meet new people and build genuine connections. This is a space for active listening and social discovery.

Respect Boundaries: Always prioritize personal space and consent. Whether it is sharing contact information or taking photos, a "no" is final and must be respected.

Manage Your RSVPs: To help us maintain professional relationships with our venues and provide accurate headcounts, please keep your attendance status updated on the Meetup app.
