Walk the Wall of Yongsan’s Military Base Tour

The Yongsan Military Base is located at the heart of Seoul. With the base’s planned relocation to Pyeongtaek, the fate of this land, often equated to New York’s Central Park, is still to be decided. Join us as we walk alongside its wall learning about its history, significance, various social and environmental issues and future. The tour will be in Korean with English interpretation. All are welcome.

Guide: Kim Eun-hee (Co-president of the Full Recovery of the Yongsan Military Base)
Date: Sunday May 6, 2018 4 - 6 PM (followed by an optional dinner)
Course: Yongsan Cultural Plaza → Seobingo-dong → Yongsan Family Park → Korean National History Museum (from where the base’s interior can be seen)
Fee: 10,000 won (by May 5)
Come in comfortable shoes, hat and some water (as we will be walking outside for 2 hours)
