How to Travel the World as a Volunteer - Lecture & Networking
Details
International volunteering is a wonderful way to create meaningful travel experiences. Working with locals and fellow travelers from around the world provides opportunities to get to know other cultures and to form lifetime friendships. Jan Lecklikner will talk about 5 volunteer vacation programs in which she has participated -- Diverbo, Pueblo Inglés, in Spain (English immersion for Spaniards), PINCC (Prevention International No Cervical Cancer: Kenya, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Guatemala), Workaway (South Africa), African impact (wildlife conservation: Kenya and Zanzibar) and Offene Arme (refuge support on Greece's Chios island).
