This group is meant to connect internationals in the region through a variety of casual meetups and activities, anything from coffee mornings to group hikes or movie nights.

Sci-Fi Leuven: "Ghost In The Shell 2 Innocence" Movie Screening and Discussion
International House Leuven, Tiensevest 60, Leuven, al, BEWelcome to the IHL's Sci-fi book and movie club. We focus on a particular book/movie at each meeting, but of course the conversation isn't only limited to that particular book/film.
This week we are going to watch together and discuss the movie "Ghost In The Shell 2 Innocence" by Mamoru Oshii from 2004, based on Masamune Shirow's manga and sequel to the 1995 movie "Ghost In The Shell".
We recommend to watch the first movie beforehand but it is not necessary to enjoy the second one, which is a STANDALONE (wink wink) sequel.

Parent Meetup at Girafant (up to age 3)
de Girafant, kerkhofdreef 2, Leuven, BEAre you a parent living in the Leuven area wanting to connect with other parents? This event is made for you!
Join us in a cozy, welcoming space where little ones (up to 3 years old) can explore new toys, play freely, and connect with new friends while parents and caregivers enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It’s a lovely opportunity for children to learn through play and for adults to meet others in the community.
What to bring: Just your baby or toddler’s essentials! The space is equipped with a changing station, as well as a variety of toys and books suitable for different age groups.
Who is it for: International parents living in Leuven who would like to connect with other international parents of babies and toddlers, share experiences, and chat about the joys and challenges of parenthood. (Please note that this group is specifically for kids up to 3 years old.)
Location/meeting point: This month the gatherings will take place at Girafant. To keep the space comfortable and enjoyable for everyone, we’re keeping this first session small and intimate, with a maximum of 5 families.
How to find our group at the venue: Let the host know that you are coming for a Meetup. She will show you where our group is.
About the host: Aileen is a mom and has a baby daughter. She looks forward to connecting with other parents in Leuven!
