If you’ve heard about the benefits of meditation but have no idea where to begin or meditated before and want to re-learn the basics, then this workshop is for you.
The aim of this interactive workshop is to provide a foundation for starting a meditation practice. Everyone is welcome, no experience or knowledge of meditation is required.
Message from host: This session will be a collaboration with Epsi who will guide us in a movement meditation.
This session will be held in the morning at the International House of Leuven (Tiensevest 60).
What to bring:
· wear loose-fitting clothing
· anything to help you feel comfortable and relax
About our volunteer: This workshop is hosted by one of our volunteers, Julie Wedam, who is excited to share her knowledge from 5 years of meditation practice with breath work, visualization, guided meditation, mindfulness, and many other techniques.
As someone who is neurodivergent (ADHD) and has worked through various mental health struggles, Julie has developed a novel meditation practice to help her manage stress and live more intentionally.
