Creative Meetups With De Maekerij

About the Event

You are invited to join a group of creative individuals to meet and discuss ongoing projects and work together in a cozy and creative space, at De Maekerij!
We will meet to create artistic works, whether your passion lies with watercolors, cross-stitching, photography, drawing, etc. this meetup is for you. It is a place where you can exchange advice, learn new techniques, chat about your creative passion, or simply sit with others and practice your art. You are welcome to bring your own materials, but De Maekerij also has a variety of materials that you are more than welcome to use!
The goal of this meetup is to establish a solid community of internationals and locals in Leuven who are inspired by different arts.
Everyone is welcome to join, whether international or local! The common language of the group will be English , but you are of course welcome to speak whatever contact language you like with others! Experience has taught us that crafts are a universal language.
Registration is not required, but you can let us know you are coming via Meetup.

Where
De Maekerij
Please note that De Maekerij will be moving locations on August 29. They will be closed for the months of September and October, so during those months the Creative meetup will take place at the International House Leuven (Tiensevest 60). There are no supplies at the International House so you need make sure to bring all the materials with you during those sessions.

Price

No registrations are required for this event and it is free to join! In order to use the De Maekeri space for this event, we ask that everyone purchase at least one drink during the evening. De Maekerij also has a system where you can pay for a coffee coupon for someone else to use in the future or you can use a coffee coupon that has already been paid for. Ask the counter at De Maekerij for more info.

When the event takes place at the International House Leuven, no drink purchase is required.
