Sci-Fi Leuven: End of Year Meeting

Welcome to the IHL's Sci-fi book and movie club. We focus on a particular book/movie at each meeting, but of course the conversation isn't only limited to that particular book/film.
- Dec 14 (on Sunday, exceptionally): bring a sci-fi item (anything!) and/or food - it's the last meeting of the year!! 🎅🕯🎄
- Jan 24: The Player of Games (book) by Iain M. Banks
- Feb 28: discussion of Mickey 17 (movie) and of chapter 10 on the teletransportation problem in Derek Parfit's Reasons and Persons (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teletransportation_paradox)
The discussions will take place in English. A good way to join the discussions is to give your own personal responses, explain why you think or feel that way, and offer some examples from the book or movie. Concrete questions about the plot or characters are also great to get a conversation started.
Registration is required so we know how many people to expect.
If you sign up and can no longer come, PLEASE let us know in advance. This is a volunteer initiative and it is important to respect their time put into organization and preparation.
