What we’re about
Meet with other local multiracial individuals, couples and families. Discuss the similar challenges & issues that you face, and the rewards of your situation, while socializing and networking with others who can relate! All people, couples and familes who are racially blended by birth, marriage or adoption are welcome in this safe and supportive environment.
I am a biracial female (mom is White, dad is African/American) and the president of Chicago's Biracial Family Network(www.bfnchicago.org). I am excited about this meetup, and gaining new members and friends. BFN has been active for 30 years. We have meetings on the 2nd Sat. of each month at 4th Presbyterian Church 126 E. Chestnut (@ Michigan Ave, in the activities center in the basement) unless otherwise noted. There are children's activities for the little ones, also teen & young adult participation. Our branch groups are The Topaz Club(an online group especially for partially Black mixed women) and Biracials & Friends(an adult social group that plans parties and outings for multicultural singles, interracial couples and their friends- see our Facebook page!) Please feel free to contact me with any questions! Robin (312)285-7555
