Welcome to INT'L CAFE Chicago! You can make some new friends while speaking a language that you are learning or already know. Check out our IRL events to become a part of a community of fun loving multilinguals, language learners and international travelers.
There will be a table for each language requested. Feel free to move around to different tables if you speak multiple languages. The English/Travelers Club table make for a great time if you want to help others improve their skills while chatting about world travel.

At INT'L CAFE, you'll meet new people, explore different cultures, and practice languages you're learning or already speak.
We create a conversation table for every language requested.Feel free to move between tables throughout the evening if you speak multiple languages or want to try something new. Common tables include English, Spanish, German, French, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Arabic, Russian, Italian, Turkish, Ukrainian, and ASL.
INT'L CAFE is a large, social gathering designed to bring together language learners, native speakers, travelers, and culturally curious people from all backgrounds.
If you're looking for a lively atmosphere, you'll fit right in. If you're hoping for a small, quiet discussion group, this may not be the event for you. Our events can get busy, energetic, and a little noisy, which is part of the fun.

Chinese Club // Mandarin Mondays
Nine Bar, 216 W Cermak Road, Chicago, IL, USOur favorite host, Lily Wang, is reserving a space for us on first and third Mandarin Mondays... Check out the new high-tops in the right nook of the bar, for our own private hangout spot🍸
All levels and dialects of Chinese are invited for a bi-weekly conversation club. If you only want to speak Chinese you will have a variety of dialect stickers to choose from (aka, don't wear an English sticker if you want use only Chinese). If you just want to be there for cultural vibes, language learning motivation and tv/cinema/music/dining/travel recommendations with a dedicated group that's great too 👄🧠🌏
