Lights, colour, action and Christmas

A wee wander through another side of the city. We will explore some of the Christmas displays around Ponsonby. We will stop for a while to watch the Ponsonby Light Show at Te Rimutahi Park and find a few other Christmas surprises.

We will meet at the corner of Hepburn St and Wellington St, outside Rupa's cafe at 103 Wellington St.

This walk will be approx 6-7 kms 2 1/2 ish hours depending on the pace of the group. It will be a bit longer than usual as we will have a few stops, including for ice cream!

Mostly on foot paths however there may be some tracks also. There are no toilets at the start of the walk but we will walk past some.

Group members have indicated that they like to walk in a smaller group with a preferred maximum of 25. Therefore the limit on our walks will remain at 25. Thank you for your understanding :-)
