Join us for an Empowering Intrepid Elder’s Healing Circle.
Immerse yourself in the heart centered, and empowering atmosphere of the Intrepid Elder’s Healing Circle.
The practice of healing circles draws inspiration from a time-honored model, a tradition nearly 400,000 years old, crafted by our ancestors around the communal fires. This profound connection to our global heritage empowers us to access a deep-seated resonance with the ceremonial circle. It's a space that beckons us to recall the security of our clan, family, tribe, and lineage. Revered by some as a sacred space and recognized by modern psychology as the “container”, our aim is to forge a haven where Intrepid Elders can share their truths openly and honestly.
This Meetup offers a rare chance to engage with peers, and foster an adventurous spirit within a nurturing embrace. Embark on this collective voyage to unlock the inner strength we possess and honor the insight that accompanies our years.
The Healing Circle Sessions are hosted by Dane Libart, LCSW and Liz Diener, PhD, RN. Dane brings over 30 years of dedicated service as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Social Worker (LCSW). He is also a Certified Instructor in Mental Health First Aid. Liz possesses 50 years of nursing experience. She also holds a distinguished career as a Professor of Nursing at Oklahoma City University.
The Intrepid Elder’s Healing Circle convenes at the Northeast Health and Wellness Center. This center, established in December of 2023, is a stunning new addition to the community thanks to the MAPS 3 Program. Our gatherings will take place in The Art Room on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month.
Looking forward to seeing you soon!
