Welcome to our Intro's meetup group. The place to find Queer Desi Singles! This meetup is for LGBTQ+ South Asians looking to connect with other singles. Whether you're newly dating again or just looking to meet new people who share your interests, this group is for you. Join us for a fun and inclusive space to make new friends and potentially find that special someone. All genders, sexualities, and identities are welcome. One on One dates. One Sunday afternoon. More conversation than your last three months on the apps combined.
This is a Canada-wide, online speed dating event for Queer South Asian men — from Vancouver to Halifax, all on one Zoom link. You'll go on back-to-back, one-on-one dates, five minutes each, so you never have to pick a room or wonder who's next.
How the afternoon runs
4 PM – 4:15 pm ET · The Lounge. Cameras on, drinks poured, host on mic. We'll warm you up with a few icebreakers and instructions before anyone has to be charming on demand.
4:15 – 7 pm ET · The dates. Multiple rounds, five minutes each, straight through. Need a breather? Step back into the Lounge and rejoin the next round. Nobody's counting.
After. If you spotted someone you liked, search their name on the Intro app and match there.
- A verified Intro profile is required to participate.
- Please use the same name on Zoom as on your Intro profile so other participants can easily find you on the app.
- Join at 4pm et sharp, if you are late we will not be able to include you in the event.
- No refunds.
