About us

Ready to spark a new passion? Whether you want to fix things around the shop, build custom metal art, or just try something completely new, our Thursday Night Intro Class is designed to get you comfortable behind the hood fast.
Who It’s For Perfect for absolute beginners, DIY hobbyists, or anyone curious about the trade. No prior shop experience required—we start from square one.
What You’ll Learn
Safety Essentials: Workspace setup, hazard awareness, and protecting yourself around high heat.
The Big Four: A practical, no-nonsense overview of MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core welding processes.
Hands-On Arc Time: Real torch time laying beads with direct feedback from an experienced fabricator.
Puddle Control: How to read the puddle, manage heat and travel speed, and fix common beginner mistakes.
The Partnered Shop Setup Students work in pairs at dedicated welding stations. Partner learning is one of the best ways to pick up the trade quickly: while your partner runs a bead, you get a clean view of the puddle angle and machine settings. You’ll alternate reps, double your visual learning time

Zero Climate Control: No central AC or heat. It gets warm in the summer and brisk in the winter—dress in layers suitable for the weather and bring a water bottle.
