My name is Mark and I’ve recently taken over as organizer of this group. Please be patient as I slowly begin to make a new syllabus and some content for this Fall and Winter. Donald has moved his course off of the meetup platform. This will cover topics on the beginner level and we shall work our way up…
Welcome computer lovers. We are an online group dedicated to presenting the usage of computer languages. Starting from the basics we will acquaint you with creating programs to solve everyday problems.
We will be working with PHP which currently powers most web sites in the world. It is free and open source.
We will be using Notepad++ which also is free and open source. It seems to be one of the best code editors.
In the upcoming meetings we will cover HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL and possibly other technical topics.
Required: computer with internet connection. We will show you how to install a personal web server on you own computer so that you can run all of this locally.
All meetings are done through Zoom so there is no physical contact.
Cost:
TBD. Some dues might be required to keep this course operational.
