Welcome to a space for exploring traditional Islamic Sufism — the inward, contemplative dimension of Islam focused on purification of the heart and closeness to God.
This group is for anyone curious about Sufism, whether you’re a lifelong Muslim looking to deepen your practice, someone exploring Islam for the first time, or simply drawn to the spiritual and mystical traditions of the world. No prior knowledge or background required — just an open heart and genuine curiosity.
We’ll gather for discussion, remembrance (dhikr), study of classical texts and poetry, and community. Our approach is rooted in the Boutchichi tariqa, a living Sufi order with a centuries-old chain of transmission, though our gatherings are open and welcoming to all regardless of affiliation.
