FRENCH IMPRESSIONISM EXHIBITION + FRENCH-THEMED AFTERNOON TEA

Let's take advantage of the NGV Winter Masterpieces to celebrate joie de vivre and all things French!

ITINERARY

12pm - Meet and Greet at foyer of NGV International near the golden sculpture.

12.15-1.30pm - Enjoy the exhibition at your own pace.

If you're attending the French Exhibition, please note that it is ticketed.

All other exhibitions (except the Kimono exhibition) are free entry.

1.30pm - Meet back at the foyer to go for afternoon tea together.

Our destination is Roule Galette on Flinders Lane, a comfortable 10-minute walk away.

2-3pm (approx): Tea at Roule Galette (241 Flinders Lane)

Roule Galette is very popular so we may have to wait for a table, but the wait is worth it if you like French crepes (or have always wanted to try them). The servers' French accents are an added delight to the ear. C’est magnifique!

I usually opt for the savoury galettes but I'm tempted to try one of the flambéed crepes this time - just to witness the dramatic preparation and presentation of it!

Getting There:
NGV International is on 180 St Kilda Road and is an easy walk from Flinders Station.
(Please note that it's different from NGV Australia aka The Ian Potter Centre at Federation Square.)
